QA - Qc Manager H / F

The company PONTICELLI NIGERIA, a subsidiary of the Ponticelli Frères Group, is recruiting as part of its projects. You will be involved in construction projects and / or industrial maintenance activities.

We invite you to join us on a permanent contract. The position is based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

The position we are offering involves the following main responsabilities :

1 / QA / QC ACTIVITY

• manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specifications, and QMS requirement;
• improve quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization;
• manage the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including : plan duties within the QA / QC staff and related work schedules;
• establish service standards for end users (internal department or external customer);
• identify and develop QA / QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education / training needs;
• provide leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA / QC personnel;

take full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stage.

manage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits.

2 / WELDING ACTIVITY

set up and control and maintenance of a welder data base.

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

You are recognised for your ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing through memos and engineering reports.

Professional English is mandatory for the position.
