Job description

Job Summary

We are looking to hire an accountant to manage all financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

  • Minimum Qualification : HND
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description / Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and reconcile financial statement
  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Record purchases and project sales
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciling inventories
  • Coordination of accounts payable and receivable
  • Credit control and financial management
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Setting up the accounting system
  • Ensuring sales are meeting targets

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum academic qualification of BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Work experience as an accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
