Role Description This is a full-time remote Entry Level English-Mandarin  Medical OPI / VRI role.

The Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate consecutive over-the-phone interpretation services between English and Mandarin in medical settings.

The role will involve facilitating communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure effective understanding and care.

Qualifications Fluency in English and Mandarin (native or advanced) Excellent listening and communication skills Certification in Medical Interpretation or related field (not mandatory) HIPAA compliant and comfortable handling confidential information Technical Requirements   Ethernet connection (wired directly to the router – NOT Wi-Fi) Noise-canceling USB headset with microphone (simple and professional-looking, not flashy) Webcam (required only if using a desktop computer) Solid dark gray backdrop for video sessions Quiet, private workspace Browser : Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox Full-time availability : Monday to Friday ( aprox  9am -5pm Eastern Standard Time ) What We Offer You   Competitive pay per available hour — you’re paid whether on call or not!
