Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting :  Prepare and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management and stakeholders.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting :  Assist in developing and managing company budgets and forecasting future financial performance.
  • Data Analysis :  Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
  • Tax Compliance :  Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Auditing :  Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Record Keeping :  Maintain accurate financial records by entering and managing all financial transactions.
  • Cash Flow Management :  Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and optimize cash reserves.
  • Payroll Processing :  Handle payroll activities, including calculating salaries, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Software & Systems :  Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Compliance :  Ensure financial operations are in compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies.

  • Education :  Typically requires an accounting degree or related field.
  • Professional Qualification :  Often, professional certifications (like a CPA) is an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills :  Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
