Job Summary
- The Gas Plant Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of gas processing, storage, and distribution systems at the plant.
 - The role involves ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and environmental standards while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor plant operations to ensure efficient gas production and distribution.Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment such as compressors, valves, pumps, and storage tanks.Troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues promptly.Develop and implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.Prepare and maintain detailed technical and operational reports.Coordinate with vendors, technicians, and other team members for repairs or system upgrades.Analyze plant performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.Support the management team in planning plant expansion, equipment upgrades, and cost optimization.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Gas Engineering (or a related field).2–5 years of relevant experience in gas plant operations or industrial plant maintenance.Strong understanding of gas processing systems, compressors, and plant instrumentation.Good knowledge of safety management and regulatory compliance.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and plant management software is an added advantage.Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / Month.
