Job Description : Unit Supervisor / Factory Head

Position Summary :

The Unit Supervisor / / Factory Head will oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and internal teams to deliver on-time, cost-effective, and high-quality products while fostering innovation and growth within the organization.

Key Strategic Planning and Collaborate with the sales team to align production plans with current and future business requirements.

  • Gather market insights, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to refine product offerings and share strategic inputs with the COO.
  • Analyse market reports periodically with R&D, production, and quality teams to improve existing product lines.
  • Propose and evaluate expansion plans and strategies for the next two years.

2. Operations and Cost Control operational costs by optimizing processes, driving cost-reduction initiatives, and implementing innovations.

  • Oversee production processes to determine resource requirements and increase efficiency.
  • Supervise machinery utilization, recommending upgrades or renovations where necessary.
  • Analyse data to anticipate future needs, manage inventory, and minimize slow-moving or dead stock.
  • 3. Team Leadership and Workforce Build and maintain a positive, disciplined, and harmonious working environment.

  • Define and monitor KRAs and KPIs for team members to ensure clarity and performance alignment.
  • Drive productivity improvements through training, development, and continuous performance monitoring.
  • Instal company values and behaviours across the organization.
  • 4. Process Improvement and Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and waste reduction projects.

  • Develop internal processes to support scaling operations and achieving higher levels of performance.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies or non-value-added processes in production.
  • 5. Production Management and Oversee the execution of production plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

  • Monitor and measure process performance, implementing corrective and preventive actions as required.
  • Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules with regular updates on equipment health.
  • Address and resolve audit points and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • 6. Record Keeping and Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all operational activities in both ERP systems and physical and Skills :
  • Proven experience in operations management, production planning, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, cost optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
  • Reporting to : Chief Operating Officer (COO)
