Job descriptionOverseeing installation of mechanical components of a drip irrigation system including pumps, valves, filters, fertigation systems and other components. Analyze irrigation needs and system requirements. Troubleshooting and maintaining the mechanical components for optimal performance. Participate in feasibility studies for new drip irrigation projects, assessing the mechanical infrastructure requirement. Collaboration with project managers, construction and electrical teams. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance and inventory. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any related field Proficient in hydraulics, fluid mechanics and dynamics, irrigation systems and mechanical principles Basic knowledge of irrigation system components and their operations Effective Communication skills People management skills Conflict Resolution Skills Project Management Skills Negotiation skills Presentation skills Interpersonal Skills Integrity Empathy Openness Discretion
