Job description

As a Business Development Manager , you’ll be at the forefront of expanding CareerBuddy’s services, driving growth by identifying opportunities, engaging clients, and closing deals. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to position our offerings as the go-to solutions for workforce challenges, making a measurable impact on the business landscape across Africa.

Your Responsibilities...

  • Lead Generation : You will identify, research, and qualify potential customers within target industries to build a robust pipeline.
  • Client Engagement : You will use a multi-channel approach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to connect with decision-makers and develop strong client relationships.
  • Needs Assessment : You will conduct in-depth discussions to understand client challenges and position CareerBuddy’s services as tailored solutions.
  • Sales Pitch : You will present proposals and deliver compelling presentations highlighting the value of our offerings.
  • Closing Deals : You will finalize sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the scaling of the team.
  • Process Optimization : You will manage sales pipelines using CRM tools, prepare reports, and continuously refine strategies to maximize efficiency.

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, particularly in outsourcing, HR tech, or workforce solutions within the African market.
  • Proven success in meeting sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce challenges and the African business landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.
  • A deep understanding of sales processes, qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT), and consultative selling.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
