Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical HR & Admin Manager (HR Generalist) who will oversee all aspects of human resources and administrative operations at Grazac. The ideal candidate will combine strong HR expertise with a deep understanding of the tech industry, ensuring a motivated, high-performing, and compliant workforce.
This person will lead recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and general administration while driving alignment between our people strategy and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles (from sourcing to onboarding).
Ensure timely and fair resolution of employee relations and conflicts.
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with labor laws and company culture.
Manage performance appraisal systems, promotions, and career development programs.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, including events, retreats, and recognition programs.
Oversee HR analytics, such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, and productivity reports.
Manage training and development plans, particularly for technical staff.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR standards.
Administration & Operations
Oversee all facility management functions (office utilities, logistics, and vendor management).
Manage the company’s asset inventory and administrative records.
Support management in budgeting and cost optimization related to HR and admin functions.
Supervise office support staff and maintain a conducive working environment.
Employee Relations & Culture
Nurture a positive and inclusive workplace culture where all staff feel valued and respected.
Maintain clear and effective communication channels between management and staff.
Promote adherence to company values and policies, ensuring accountability at all levels.
Coordinate company events : birthdays, bi-annual retreats, end-of-year parties, and recognition ceremonies.
Talent and Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data and documentation.
Ensure timely payroll inputs and collaboration with the finance team.
Retrieve funds from past talents in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Support leadership in workforce planning and succession management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR / Admin Manager (preferably in a tech or startup environment).
Professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, PHRi, etc.) are an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated experience in recruiting for technical roles (developers, designers, product managers, etc.).
Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho People, or similar).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
