Job descriptionMinimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in any discipline (Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields is an advantage). No prior logistics experience required, but must be eager and willing to learn. Excellent computer skills — must be proficient in : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Digital documentation and data entry Internet research and online tools Strong command of English (written and spoken). Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly. Must be smart, detail-oriented, and proactive. Must currently reside in Lagos State. Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in coordinating daily truck movements, deliveries, and dispatch operations.
- Support the Logistics Manager in tracking shipments, vehicle availability, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and maintain digital records of trips, maintenance schedules, and drivers’ reports.
- Use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to generate reports and manage documentation.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and update logistics databases and spreadsheets accurately.
- Research and provide logistics-related information using online tools and the internet.
- Learn company procedures, logistics software, and documentation systems quickly.
- Perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
