About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Support Analyst (Level 2) to strengthen our IT security operations. This role focuses on monitoring, investigating, and responding to escalated security incidents, ensuring the protection of systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will provide advanced support, assist with security tool management, and help enforce compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to escalated security alerts and incidents from Level 1 analysts.
Perform in-depth investigation and analysis of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches.
Manage and fine-tune security tools such as SIEM, IDS / IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
Support patch management, vulnerability assessments, and remediation efforts.
Assist in monitoring user access, identity management, and policy compliance.
Document incidents, response actions, and lessons learned.
Provide support during audits and compliance checks (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to implement security best practices.
Mentor junior (Level 1) cybersecurity staff in incident response and threat detection.
