The Company is seeking to hire self-driven and highly motivated finance Officer who will be responsible for supporting all tactical and operational duties of the accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will see to the daily transaction processing, payables/receivables, cash handling, and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, match with purchase orders.
Maintain vendor ledger and ensure timely payment of suppliers.
Track and reconcile operational expenses, especially field/response-related purchases.
Prepare payment schedules for management approval.
Issue customer invoices (corporate clients, retainers, emergency response fees).
Maintain customer statements and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Record collections (transfers, POS, cash) and reconcile with bank statements.
Maintain petty cash; record disbursements and replenish with documentation.
Perform bank deposit postings and daily transaction logging.
Assist in weekly and monthly bank reconciliation.
Organize and archive financial documents (invoices, receipts, contracts, payroll support).
Maintain orderly filing system for departmental compliance and audits.
Support emergency response teams with verified budget requests.
Track consumption of operational items funded by finance.
Requirements
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
1-3 years’ experience in finance or similar role.
Good knowledge of Accounting Software (Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, etc) and MS Excel.
Intermediate report writing skills.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles and accounting/budgeting practice.
Experience working with donors or grants management is a plus.

Compensation: Base Pay ranges BTW N200k – N300k Monthly + other benefits
