Job descriptionSet up and dismantle rigging equipment such as pulleys, beams, clamps, and bolts. Align, level, and anchor heavy machinery like crushers, mills, and conveyors. Attach loads securely for lifting and transport using cranes or hoists. Inspect rigging gear before and after use to ensure safety and reliability. Undertake lifting and movement of plant components during maintenance. Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures. Maneuver loads manually or with machinery, ensuring precision and safety. Collaborate with fitters and technicians during plant maintenance. Help dismantle and reassemble machinery for servicing or relocation. Ensure tools and lifting equipment are maintained and stored properly. Communicate effectively with team members during lifting operations. Conduct post-operation inspections and report any equipment faults. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads. National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent in Engineering. Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience. Knowledge of quality control methods and instruments Knowledge of quality audit / testing processes for cement Knowledge of the cement production process Knowledge of ISO quality management systems Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quantitative analyses Problems solving skills Proficiency in the use of computer Technical skills Teamwork skills
