Our client is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented CEO to lead the platform through launch and operational growth. This is a rare opportunity to establish a foundational commodity market institution from scratch. They will be responsible for strategic direction, executive leadership, regulatory engagement, and market credibility.
The successful candidate will embody entrepreneurial drive, compliance discipline, and commercial acumen. They must inspire trust and deliver results across both public and private sector engagements.
Personal Specification
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years in a structured corporate environment, with experience in energy, commodity trading, or capital markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (MSc / MBA advantageous).
- Deep understanding of Nigerian and West African regulatory landscapes.
- Demonstrated experience launching new ventures or platforms in emerging markets.
- Strong financial acumen and familiarity with digital platforms and infrastructure.
- Experience in managing relationships with regulators, boards, and technical teams
