In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Direct-To-Consumer[D2C] Operations Assistant who understands that great products only create great experiences when they arrive on time, accurately packed, and perfectly delivered. This is a role for someone who thrives in the details, keeping inventory tight, fulfilment smooth, and logistics costs in check across West Africa. You will be the operational backbone of our Direct-to-Consumer function, working closely with 3PL partners, cross-functional teams, and systems to ensure every order, every package, and every invoice is handled with precision. Who are we looking for?

Your Responsibilities…
D2C Inventory & Fulfilment
- You will manage inventory replenishment to ensure stock levels across West Africa are accurate and sufficient to meet demand.
- You will oversee daily fulfilment operations in partnership with 3PL providers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
- You will reconcile inventory, returns, and transactions with the Finance team, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
Last-Mile Delivery & Logistics
- You will track delivery performance, order accuracy, and cost efficiency across last-mile logistics operations.
- You will monitor logistics costs as a percentage of D2C sales and actively support cost optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency.
Packaging & Compliance
- You will track packaging material inventory, usage, and costs, ensuring materials are available for standard, PR, and gift orders.
- You will ensure all packaging and labelling meets compliance requirements at all times.
- You will support packaging optimisation initiatives to drive cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
Order Management & Cross-functional Collaboration
- You will work closely with the Customer Experience and Marketing teams on order planning, PR and gift fulfilment, campaigns, and product launches.
- You will support demand planning efforts by providing accurate and timely consumption data to relevant stakeholders.
Invoicing & Systems
- You will generate accurate D2C invoices using Odoo, ensuring timeliness and correctness across all billing processes.
- You will support the resolution of any billing issues, working collaboratively with finance and operations teams to close gaps quickly.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- You will track and report weekly D2C KPIs, identifying performance gaps and recommending initiatives to drive efficiency and cost savings.
What Success looks like…
- On-time fulfilment rate is consistently high, with orders processed accurately and delivered within committed timelines across West Africa.
- Order accuracy and inventory discrepancy rates are maintained at best-in-class levels through diligent reconciliation and oversight.
- Logistics costs as a percentage of D2C sales are tracked closely and show a measurable downward trend through active cost optimisation.
- Packaging material variance is minimised and cost savings initiatives are identified and implemented on a regular basis.
- Invoice accuracy and timeliness meet or exceed agreed targets, with billing issues resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Weekly KPI reporting is delivered consistently, providing clear visibility into operational performance for the Head of Supply Chain.
To be considered for this role you should have…
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in D2C, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with Odoo experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to work accurately with data and performance metrics.
- Experience managing packaging materials is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
