Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company goods and materials between designated locations. Ensures proper handling of items, maintains vehicle condition, and complies with company policies and traffic regulations while supporting the organization’s logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport company goods, materials, and supplies to designated locations as assigned.
- Ensure items are properly loaded, secured, and delivered safely without damage.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely distribution of goods.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the company vehicle.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.
- Report any accidents, delays, or mechanical faults promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with loading and offloading goods when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company transport policies at all times.
- Safeguard company goods while in transit.
