As our Gender Inclusion Specialist, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that equity is not just a value but a lived reality across our programs and operations. We cannot afford blind spots in gender dynamics or inconsistencies in how women experience our programs, workplaces, and communities. We need a gender inclusion professional who is both strategic and practical. The Gender Inclusion Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of gender-responsive systems and initiatives, turning inclusion commitments into measurable outcomes that promote equity, dignity, and opportunity for all—while ensuring a strong safeguarding lens across interactions with vulnerable groups.

You will :

Assess gender gaps across programs, operations, and communities, providing insights to guide inclusive decision-making.

Develop and implement Babban Gona’s gender inclusion strategies, frameworks, and policies.

Design interventions that expand women’s participation, leadership, and access to resources.

Identify gender-related risks and ensure safeguards that promote safety, fairness, and well-being.

Build organizational capacity by training teams on gender sensitivity, equitable practices, and inclusive leadership.

Requirements

You’re not just a gender inclusion professional — you’re a champion of equity, a builder of systems that uplift women, and a driver of meaningful, measurable change. You thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments where strategy, advocacy, and operational execution intersect to create real social impact.

You should have :

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Development, Public Policy, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in gender inclusion, women’s empowerment, and  social development.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement gender inclusion frameworks, policies, and interventions.

Safeguarding-conscious : Ability to work responsibly with vulnerable persons, ensuring their safety and dignity are respected.

Experience working with diverse stakeholders — including community groups, regulators, development partners, donors, and internal teams — to advance gender equity objectives.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate gender-disaggregated data and qualitative insights into actionable strategies and program recommendations.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills to influence, educate, and build buy-in across teams and leadership.
