Job Description
A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving sales within a specific geographic region by developing strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and achieving revenue targets. Key duties include setting sales goals, analyzing performance, recruiting and training staff, managing budgets, and building client relationships.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement regional sales plans and strategies to achieve company goals and increase revenue.
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet performance targets.
Monitor sales data and team performance, prepare reports for senior management, and suggest improvements to sales approaches.
Follow up collection and outstanding
Set sales quotas and objectives for the region and individual team members.
Create and manage budgets for the sales department in their region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
