Job Title : Accountant

Location : Allen, Ikeja

Salary : ₦150,000 - ₦200,000

Job Summary :

A fast-growing company in the food processing and packaging industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting processes, ensure proper financial recordkeeping, support cost analysis for production, and provide accurate financial reports to management.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

Handle reconciliations of bank statements and general ledgers.

Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Maintain and review costing data for manufacturing and production expenses.

Analyze production costs and provide insights for cost optimization.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and internal controls.

Collaborate with management to support business decisions through financial insights.

Requirements :

HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Accountancy, or related field (mandatory).

Minimum of 1–3 years experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or food processing company.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong understanding of Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, and Financial Accounting principles.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
