You will be responsible for :
Key Responsibilities
Braze Platform ManagementCreate and manage user segments based on behavior, location, and preferencesBuild, test, and deploy email newsletters, product announcements, and special campaignsDesign and implement push notifications and in-app pop-up messagesIndependently create and manage emails using content blocks and custom HTML / CSS when necessarySet up journeys and automations that are optimized for conversion and retentionChannel-Specific CampaignsPlan and manage paid ad campaigns on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedInDevelop LinkedIn newsletters to target professional and B2B audiences (restaurant owners, investors, partners)Align ad creatives and copy with the company’s voice and missionCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with the internal team of designers, writers, and community managersContribute to cross-channel campaign planning, especially during key moments like Black History Month, Juneteenth, or Taste of Culture campaignsParticipate in team meetings and provide performance insights to optimize campaignsVoice, Tone & Culture FitCommunicate in a voice that is authentic, uplifting, culturally aware, and community-drivenShow a natural interest in food, community stories, and culture, especially within the Black diasporaEnsure every message reinforces the company’s values and deepens connection with both diners and restaurant ownersWorking Conditions Details;
Work Environment : This is a fully remote position.
Working Hours : 10 hours per week ( 40 hours monthly ).

6+ years of proven experience and a strong track record in digital marketing, with direct experience in e-commerce, sales funnels, and advertisingProficient in Braze.com (or similar CRM / email platforms)Comfortable working in a startup environment with shifting priorities and tight timelinesExperience in writing and editing copy for diverse audiencesPrior work with food & beverage brands or culturally centered organizations is a plusDemonstrated ability to read and analyze performance data and make content decisions based on resultsNice to Have :
Experience using Canva, Figma, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign ManagerFamiliarity with The Roux blog and community content strategiesHas created or managed influencer collaborations or UGC campaigns.The Employer
