Key Requirements
Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification.
minimum of 2 years of proven experience in van sales or direct sales distribution.
Valid driver’s license and proficiency in driving a manual transmission van.
Strong knowledge of route planning, sales territories, and retail outlets.
Ability to meet daily / weekly sales targets and manage cash / stock reconciliation.
Good communication, negotiation, and customer-relationship skills.
Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the sales van through assigned routes to sell and deliver products to retailers.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Generate orders, process sales, and ensure timely product delivery.
Maintain accurate records of sales, cash collection, and stock movement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and customers.
Ensure proper merchandising and visibility of products at retail outlets.
Conduct daily stock checks and ensure van inventory accuracy.
Identify new prospects and expand customer base within assigned territory.
Provide market feedback on pricing, competition, and customer preferences.
Ensure the van is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with company safety standards.
