Head of Maintenance

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Maintenance (Electro-Mechanical) to lead our maintenance operations in the paper mill. This role requires a dynamic professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership and planning skills. The successful candidate will oversee all maintenance activities : electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical, to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of plant equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, and technical staff).
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all mill equipment.
• Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of breakdowns to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate installation, inspection, and commissioning of new machines and systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance documentation, records, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering departments to optimize machine performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Train and develop technical staff to improve performance and technical know-how.
