Job descriptionThe Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the facility. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and efficiently. Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (including toilets, sinks, and showers) Emptying trash and recycling bins Spot cleaning walls, windows, and mirrors Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels Restocking amenities (e.g., toiletries, coffee / tea) Ensuring guest rooms are clean, tidy, and welcoming Reporting any maintenance or repair issues Assisting with laundry duties as needed Following all safety and security procedures Maintaining a clean and organized area Providing friendly and courteous service to guests and colleagues Addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred. Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness standards Ability to work independently and efficiently Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Basic communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry moderate weights Ability to bend, stoop, and reach Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
