A Housekeeper & Laundry job involvesgeneral cleaning, organizing, and maintenance of a private home or commercial property, along with detailed laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, and sorting linens.Key responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining cleanliness in common areas, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring all household or facility supplies are stocked.General Housekeeping Duties
Cleaning : Perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting in designated rooms, hallways, and common areas.Restrooms : Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures, and ensure they are well-stocked with supplies.Furniture : Dust and polish furniture, clean upholstered items, and arrange furniture as needed.Waste Management : Collect and dispose of trash and other waste appropriately.Supplies Management : Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, paper towels, and other necessary items.Reporting : Notify supervisors or management of any repairs needed for equipment or property fixtures.Laundry Duties :
Washing and Drying : Collect soiled linens and clothing, then wash and dry them according to proper procedures.Ironing : Iron clothing and linens to ensure they are presentable and ready for use.Folding and Sorting : Fold, stack, and hang clean linens and clothing, then return them to designated closets or rooms.Linen Management : Keep linen rooms and supply closets fully stocked and organized.Personal Clothing : Sort, wash, dry, and fold personal clothing for residents or guests.
