Summary

  • The Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) is seeking a skilled ELV Technician (Extra-Low Voltage) to join our Facilities Management team.
  • This roles are critical to ensuring reliable power, security, and technology systems that support our world-class museum facility, staff, and visitors.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems : CCTV, access control, fire alarms, PA / voice evacuation, and structured cabling.
  • Support exhibitions with AV / multimedia setups.
  • Troubleshoot faults and perform preventive maintenance with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and record power meter readings to track energy usage, detect abnormalities, and support efficient power management.
  • Monitor systems via BMS / control room and ensure compliance with safety / security standards.
  • Requirements

  • SSCE / OND / HND / BSc in Electrical / Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 25 years' hands-on experience with ELV systems in critical facilities.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire alarms, networking basics, and cabling.
  • System certifications (Honeywell, Bosch, Siemens, etc.) are an advantage.
